Live Oak FL Living

Over the past couple years I have seen many people move into our area looking for a more relaxing way of life. I love working with these buyers and introducing them to our area as well as keeping in touch with them and hearing about how they love their new home and town. If you are considering a move and change of pace, let me introduce you to Live Oak!
Live Oak is the largest town in Suwannee County. The Suwannee River borders most of our county and is perfect for boating, canoeing, camping, hiking and more. Live Oak is known for its small town charm and towering oaks. Our town loves having festivals downtown and there is pretty much always something going on at the Spirit of the Suwannee. Football season is always a big deal and the whole town comes together on Friday nights to watch the Bulldogs play. Summers are spent at the river, nearby springs and lakes, and since Live Oak is located near I-10 and I-75, we can reach many different beaches within an hour and a half (that includes the Atlantic and Gulf). Because of our close proximity to interstates, we have easy access to Lake City, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Orlando and Valdosta GA.
When it comes to dining, Live Oak is mainly made up of locally owned restaurants with an assortment of fast food chains. We have major retailers like Wal-Mart as well as large hardware stores like True Value (Howland’s) and Lowe’s, grocery stores and retailers. While we aren’t exactly a destination for a day of major shopping (and we don’t really want to be 😉 ) Live Oak does have plenty to offer its residents.
When it comes to homes, Live Oak has a historical district downtown with beautiful old homes boasting with charm. There are also some newer neighborhoods in town. When you leave the “city” limits, we have several subdivisions that offer a variety of home and lot sizes. If it’s privacy you’re looking for in a home, we have PLENTY of that. We also have riverfront homes, lakefront homes, homes on a lot of acreage and so much more!
I would encourage you to visit our area and check things out for a few days. It would also be a great idea to go ahead and establish a relationship with a realtor who can become familiar with your wishes and who can look out for new homes coming on the market that match your criteria. I love bringing new people into our area and I would love to work with you! My services are absolutely free to buyers.
Live Oak FL living may be just what you’re looking for!
